ErgoVidrio: playing “seriously” for prevention in the Glass industry
In 2014, CONFEVICEX, FITAG-UGT and CCOO-INDUSTRIA with the support of entities specialized in occupational health and ergonomics, have developed the project "Preventative Instruments for Virtual Training in the Prevention of Ergonomic Risk in the Glass industry". This project has been developed thanks to the financing of the Occupational Risk Prevention Foundation (FPRL in Spain). Actions IS 0317/20013, IS 0266/20013, IS 0320/20013.
The main result of the project is the ErgoVidrio application, a "serious game" which enables free access via smartphone or tablet to the information on Occupational Health and Risk Prevention in the Glass industry.
ErgoPan: playing for prevention
In allocating the resources of the Fundación para la Prevención de Riesgos Laborales (IS-0299/2012, IS-0301/2012 and IS 0303/2012), the CEOPAN, FEAGRA-CCOO and FITAG-UGT, with the support of the IBV, an agency specializing in ergonomics and occupational health, have developed a project whose main result has been the development of the game “ErgoPan” to train and raise awareness in workers in the bakery industry. ErgoPan is a serious game and is tailored to working conditions in the industry to facilitate learning how to prevent ergonomic hazards.
Promoting employment for people with disabilities
This article presents an interactive advisor for ergonomic assessment and fitting of workplaces to persons with disabilities (physical, sensorial, and/or psychological). It has been designed to identify areas of mismatching between workplace demands and worker functional capabilities, in order to promote the access to employment, and labor integration for people with disabilities in the retail sector. The methodology includes the process of incorporation as well as the adaptive measures of workplaces by using reasonable adjustments.
Ergonomics in the Forestry Sector
During 2013, FEAGRA-CCOO and FITAG-UGT, supportedby organizations specializing in ergonomics and occupational health, have developed a project to improve ergonomic conditions in the forestry sector.
As a result of this project, a website has been launched with information on ergonomic risks for specific tasks, as well as Guides with ergonomic criteria for selecting and evaluating PPE.
