The risks of teleworking and how to reduce them with Ergo/IBV
Telework is a way of working that has increased considerably over the last few years. The growth of this option, especially as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, has meant that, in many cases, it is performed without adequate planning and correct consideration of the potential occupational risks that it may entail.
In order to take these aspects into account, a methodological proposal has been developed to assess teleworking from an ergonomic point of view, thus allowing a flexible assessment of the telework conditions, facilitating the identification of problems, a diagnosis of the situation at an individual and/or collective level, and the identification of recommendations for improvement.
Gait assessment with AMHPlus/IBV after ankle fracture surgery: Case report
Ankle fractures are the most common bone fracture in the body, subsequently leading to biomechanical alterations. In this context, it is important to carry out an assessment of the functional capacity with parameters that can be determining factors for recovery. We present a clinical case in which the functional capacity of gait has been assessed using the NedAMHPlus/IBV application in a patient with an ankle fracture, the purpose being to demonstrate the clinical usefulness of this application and to understand how fatigue affects gait in patients of this type.
Analysis of Biomechanical Alterations in Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome using Kinemov/IBV: A case report
Patellofemoral pain syndrome is one of the most frequent causes of knee pain. Biomechanical analysis provides the key information that is required to prescribe therapeutic exercise because current tests, whether diagnostic or functional, do not provide sufficiently specific and reliable information. In comparison to standard technologies, which tend to be complex and tedious, the Kinemov/IBV software facilitates a biomechanical analysis in a streamlined, fast and objective way. This biomechanical analysis makes it possible to identify the deficits of each joint and to create a customized therapeutic exercise program.
